Its no big secret that having a healthy lifestyle makes you feel great, but why then do so many people fail to reach their goals? .. Its because their training is lacking direction, structure and the fact that they've been bombarded with false information for years.
The majority of goals are easily achievable in 3 - 6 months so why be like most people who spend years training still not hitting their targets.
I will give you the knowledge, the experience and the motivation you need to hit your goals whether it is to lose weight, gain muscle, improve sporting performance or to make every day activities easier.
However having a personal trainer isn't a magic wand that will make you look and feel better. It takes dedication and perseverance. I will only train people with motivation, commitment as well as a real desire to hit their targets.
One on One sessions give me more of an opportunity to get to know you and offer support as well nutrition advice. We will be working quickly towards agreed goals and targets; following pre-planned weekly session using a variety of equipment.
This is the most common and most effective way to train. You will have my full attention, allowing us to make the most of our time together. I am able to continually adapt, monitor and drive sessions to ensure consistant progress. Everyone has their own reasons for wanting to change their body shape and improve fitness/performance, it can often be an emotional process. We will be able to break down any barriers that might exist and the results will speak for themselves!
Group training is a great way of making workouts a more social experience. It is a unique and cost effective way for a small group of friends/colleagues to experience specialist training and tailor made workouts designed for that group (Participants must have similar goals).
Many people enjoy the camaraderie and competition dynamics that exist within a group. The added motivation also means that results are often improved, and the extra support people are more like to adhere to the dietary challenges and stay committed to attending the training sessions.
As well as these benefits the cost per person is also reduced significantly when session prices are split amongst a group.
The Afterburn Kettlebell Class uses training and body weight drills for a high intensity full body workout. Every member of this class is pushed to their maximum resulting in very fast progression, and will also make significant changes to their body composition. The average calorie burn for this class is incredible, with females torching well over 1000 and males often hitting as high as 1400. The "afterburn" effect of the class also means that your metabolism will be increased greatly for the 72 hours following a class.

Nutrition advice is for those who are happy with their progress within their own training but have trouble sticking to lifestyle changes and need some dietary direction. Most peoples idea of a "healthy" diet is incorrect; the majority of the media has been misleading people for years with fad diets and get thin fast programmes based on either out of date scientific research or following a unhealthy calorie restristion. The truth is that you may still have the items of food you enjoy in moderation, but if you want to make significant changes to your body composition then you need a lifestyle/diet change. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to you and wasting both your time and your money.
I have created a very successful diet system that leads to fat loss while not putting your body at risk. The diet I use is healthy and sustainable. I will also talk to you about the psychology of your diet and we will unearth any unhealthy trends and habits.

We’ve all been there right? Way back in 2002 I was overweight, unhappy, lacked confidence and spent most of my time eating poorly. Until one day I realised how bad things had become and made the choice to change. I didn’t get it right first time; it took time to learn how my body worked. But perhaps the hardest task was dispelling all the myths and deception around having a healthy lifestyle and being fit. This sparked my interest in the fitness industry and created a thirst for knowledge which lead me into countless hours of research and experimentation. One of the key things I have learnt is: “We first make our habits, and then our habits make us”.
I am very confident in my ability as a trainer and have worked closely with high level athletes, training them at top facilities. I also work with a large rehabilitation company aiding their clients recovery as part of insurance claims.
I pride myself on working with a broad client base and being able to deliver a large variety of workouts, which have been tailor made for the individual following them. I understand that the majority of people have time constraints; flexible training gives you a workout anywhere. With personal training these barriers become obsolete and the results you desire will become reality.
I can’t do the workouts for you, but I can motivate and inspire you to not only achieve but surpass your goals.
